Job description

For YAYS Antwerp Opera, the first YAYS aparthotel in Belgium, we are looking for a team of enthusiastic hospitality talents with a curious spirit and a love of storytelling. At YAYS, guest service team members are local experts who give their personal touch and extra local flavour, sharing facts, stories, and recommendations with guests who won’t settle for an impersonal hotel experience and want to tap into the local spirit. That’s why we call this team the ‘YAYS Insiders’. Sure, they are always ready to offer practical help, but local knowledge is where they make a difference in a guest’s experience. Could this be you?

This is what you’ll be doing:

  • Handling check-ins and check-outs
  • Handling payments
  • Handling communication
  • Handle the administrative part, using a great cloud-based hotel reservation system, with the support of a central guest service team
  • And most importantly, represent the YAYS lifestyle brand and help our guests make the most of their YAYS experience

Job requirements

About you:

  • Are curious and passionate about hospitality and travel
  • You are native or fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • Are proactive and able to show initiative
  • Quick to adapt and flexible to changes
  • Able to work independently, responsible, and organized
  • Share an enthusiasm about the city and area you will be working in

Awesome to have:

  • At least 3 days or more availability, preferably full-time
  • Willing to work on shifts (including weekends, public holidays, and evenings)
  • A friendly and open attitude
  • Genuine interest in the YAYS concept
  • Hospitality background is a plus, but not a must!
