We are looking for a passionate intern to join our Finance team in Amsterdam! The job of a finance intern at YAYS is to support the organization while learning about a career in finance. By getting hands-on experience by working together with the Finance team. It will allow you to get a practical experience in the different areas of the Finance department in the Hospitality sector. You will gain experience in accounts payables, accounts receivables, and other general accounting topics.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Check and process the invoices received by e-mail and by post.
• Enter the invoices in our purchase to pay system.
• Contact vendors in case of outstanding questions on invoices.
• Booking invoices in our ERP-system.
• Support in performing monthly reconciliations.
• Preparing bank reconciliations.
• Support accounts receivables by generating invoices for clients.

About you:

• Willing to learn, show initiative and critical thinking.
• Are organized and able to work independently.
• A completed or near completion of your financial diploma or something similar.
• Familiar with the whole Microsoft Office package, including Excel.
• You are energetic and yourself!

Awesome to have:

• Available 5 days a week for at least 5 months.
• Are open minded and team player.
• Are result-oriented thinker that thinks in solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language. Working command of Dutch is a big plus.
